Hi, I’m Aimee — writer, artist, creator, and the mind behind Aimee’s Mosaic Mind. I publish fiction as A. R. Calix, but I’ve never been particularly good at staying in one creative lane.

One day I’m working on a short story, the next I’m designing a planner, painting something, falling down a history rabbit hole, or deciding whether a tiny skeleton belongs in the décor. Usually, the answer is yes.

Aimee’s Mosaic Mind is where all those pieces come together: books, art, journals, creative projects, curious subjects, and whatever has caught my attention lately. I like things that feel comfortable enough to settle into, quirky enough to keep you curious, and occasionally dark enough to make you laugh at the wrong moment.

I don’t think creativity has to fit neatly into one category. Sometimes the interesting part is seeing how completely different pieces end up belonging together.

That’s really what this place is about: following curiosity, making things, learning as I go, and seeing what kind of mosaic forms along the way.
